마약제조업자들이 활개치는 국가는 참으로 끔찍합니다. 전후 사정이야 어찌됬든 탈레반이 하고있는 일은 용서 받기 힘든것같습니다. 예전에 그들이 1000년도 넘은 고대 불상을 폭파하는 장면을 유투브로 본적이 있습니다. 정말 큰 충격이었습니다.IS와 마찬가지로 탈레반도 자금줄이 필요합니다.  IS는 석유공장을 점거했지만 이들은 양귀비를 통한 마약제조및 유통을 하는군요. 허허 참..

양귀비를 사프란으로 대체하는 계획은 꽤나 현실적인 계획으로 보입니다. 아프간의 소녀들도 현재 아프간의 어느부분이 잘못되었는지 인식하고있는 모양이네요. 하루 빨리 아프가니스탄이 안정화 되어서 올바를 국가로 거듭나기를 바랍니다.

Female Coders Create Opium-Fighting Video Game in Afghanistan

아프간의 여성 프로그래머들이 양귀비전쟁 게임을 만들다.

Young Afghan women are breaking traditional barriers as their country’s first female coders.

아프간의 젊은 여성들이 전통장벽을 깨고 아프간의 첫번째 코더들 되었습니다. 

They learned to code at Code to Inspire (CTI) a girls-only computer programing school in Herat.

그들은 Herat에 있는 여성 프로그래밍 학교 CTI(Code to Inspire)에서 프로그래밍을 배웠습니다. 

The women not only learned to code, but also created a video game.

여성들은 코드를 배우는것 뿐만아니라 비디오게임도 만들었습니다. 

The game they created, called Fight Against Opium, supports Afghanistan’s effort to remove large opium poppy fields ruled by the Taliban. Opium is used to make heroin and other illegal drugs.
그 게임은 ‘아편과 싸우기’라고 불립니다. 탈레반이 지배하는 양귀비 밭은 제거하기 위해 아프가니스탄을 지원하는 게임입니다. 아편은 헤로인이나 불법마약을 제조조하는데 사용됩니다. 

Coder Khatera Mohammadi and her classmates thought a computer game could bring attention to the issue, especially among the young. It could be their way to help in the fight against opium.

카테라 무하마디와 그녀의 친구들은 특히 젊은 층에서 이 컴퓨터 게임이 주목을 받을 수 있을 것 이라 생각했습니다.컴퓨터게임을 만드는 것은 그들이 아편과 싸울 수 있는 하나의 방법이 될수있을 것 이라고 생각한 것 입니다.

In the game, an Afghan soldier goes to a region to clear it of drugs. The soldier faces problems in the process: enemies hiding in tall corn fields, land mines, drug traffickers and hidden heroin laboratories.

게임에서, 아프간의 군인은 아편지역에 가서 모든 마약들을 제거합니다. 하지만 군인은 몇가지 문제에 부딪히게 됩니다. 적들이 옥수수밭에 숨거나, 숨겨지 지뢰,  마약밀매업자,  숨겨진 헤로인 제조설비등이죠.

United Nations estimates show Afghanistan produces more opium than all other countries combined.

유엔은 아프가니스탄이 다른 모든 국가를 합친것보다 많은 아편을 생산한다고 예측합니다.

Mohammadi said her dream is that one day the opium poppy would be replaced by the saffron crocus, a flower used to make spice. She included that in the game, by having the soldiers try to persuade local poppy farmers to grow saffron instead.

모하마디는 그녀의 꿈이 언젠가 모든 양귀비들이 사프란으로 바뀌는 것이라고 말했습니다. 사프란 꽃은 매운맛을 내는 향신료의 재료입니다. 그녀는 게임서 군인이 양귀비 농부들에게 양귀비 대신에 사프란을 재배하도록 설득하는 기능을 포함시켰습니다.

Hasib Rassa is the CTI project manager. He said, "It's not easy for a girl to find a job and go to work outside of her home in Afghanistan. Now, with just one laptop at home, she can work online and earn money and help her family.”

하십 라싸는 CTI프로그램의 매니저입니다. 그는 “아프가니스탄에서는 소녀들이 집밖에서 일을 구하기가 쉽지 않습니다. 지금, 오직 한대의 노트북으로 그녀들은 온라인으로 돈을 벌고 가족들을 도울 수 있습니다" 

"The plan is to go big, to have more schools across Afghanistan," he added.

“이 계획은 더 커질 것 입니다. 아프가니스탄 전역에 걸쳐 더 많은 학교가 생길 것 입니다” 라고 덧붙였습니다.
