가짜뉴스는 특히 한국 정치권에서 많이 양산되고있습니다. 근거와 실체가 없는 뉴스들이 상대편 진영의 정보조작이나 교묘한 프레임씌우기를 통해 특정시점에 널리 퍼지게 됩니다. 대표적 사건이 국민의당이 만든 문준용씨에 대한 사건이었죠. 철저히 국민의당이 조작해서, 심지어는 인터뷰까지 조작해서 만든 사건이었습니다. 그래서 인지 요즘에는 뉴스가 퍼지면 우선 믿기 보다는 검열과정 이른바 팩트체크가 등장했습니다. 그것도 거의 실시간에 가까운 제보로 이루입니다. JTBC에서는 실시간 팩트 체크방을 항상 운용하고 있구요. 몇몇 양산되는 가짜정보들은 뉴스룸에서 팩트 대조를 보여줍니다. 하지만 문제는 이것을 아는것도 보는 사람들만 아는건데 상대진영 사람들이나 태극기 할배들은 그냥 안보고 가짜 뉴스만 믿거나 팩트를 보고도 안믿거나 입니다. 어쩔수 없습니다. 그것을 먹고 사는 사람들인가 봅니다. 후후..

An online game, called “Bad News,” has been created so players can imitate prominent people’s use of “fake news,” The Guardian reports.

“배드뉴스”라는 온라인게임이 만들어졌습니다. 플레이어는 중요한 인물들의 가짜뉴스를 흉내낼수 있습니다. 영국 일간지 가디언은 전했습니다. 

The game’s inventors say they wish to protect the public against the use of bad information and cruel jokes online. In the game, players get to pick inflammatory content to share with imaginary fans. Players are then rewarded for acting like celebrities and spreading “fake news.”

게임의 제작자는 온라인상의 잔인한 농담이나 나쁜 정보로인한 공익의 보호를 바란단다고 말했습니다. 게임에서, 플레이어들은 자극적인 내용의 컨텐츠를 고르고 그것을 가상의 팬에게 공유합니다. 플레이어는 유명인처럼 행동하고 가짜뉴스를 퍼트리면 보상을 받습니다. 

The creators of the game believe that the best way to deal with fake news is not to block it, but rather to ridicule it.

이 게임의 제작자는 가짜뉴스에 대응하는 가장 좋은 방법은 막는것이 아니라 그냥 비웃어 넘기는 것이라고 믿습니다.
