뉴욕의 필수 경험 다섯가지

New York City is the most populous and densely populated city in the United States, with over 8 million people living within a 784 square kilometer area. A cultural and financial global center, it's often described as 'the city that never sleeps'. Over 800 languages are spoken in New York, likely more than any other city. It's impossible to do everything in a single visit, but here are a few highlights:

뉴욕은 미국에서 가장 인구가 많고 밀집도가 높은 도시 입니다. 800만의 사람들이 784제곱키로미터의 공간에서 살아가고 있습니다. 문화적으로 금융적으로 세계의 중심이며, 종종 “도사는 잠들지 않는다”로 묘사 되기도 합니다. 다른도시와는 달리 뉴욕에서는 800개가 넘는 언어가  사용됩니다. 한번의  방문으로 모든것을 다하기는 불가능합니다. 하지만 여기에 몇가지 하이라이트를 소개 합니다. 

The Subway

지하철

Although often dirty and crowded, the subway is the quintessential mode of transport in New York City. Besides being a classic New York experience, riding the subway is usually the cheapest, easiest way to travel around the city.

지저분하고 붐비지만 지하철은 뉴욕의 가장 본질적인 운송 수단입니다. 게다가 가장 클래식하게 뉴욕을 체험하는 방법입니다. 지하철을 타는것은 가장 싸고 쉽게 도시를 여행할 수 있습니다. 

Broadway

브로드웨이

No visit to New York City is complete without seeing a show on Broadway. Although expensive and often booked out months in advance, nothing compares to the spectacle of a Broadway musical. There are 41 professional theaters with 500 seats or more in the area, all of which are just a short walk away from the famous Times Square.

브로드웨이를 방문하지 않고서는 뉴욕을 갔다고 말할 수 없습니다. 비록 비싸고 몇개월전에 매진이 되지만, 브로드웨이의 스펙타클한 뮤지컬은 비교할 곳이 없습니다. 500개 이상의 좌석이 구비된 총 41개의 전문 극장이 있습니다. 이 모든 곳은 유명한 타임스퀘어에서 걸어서 갈수 있는 거리에 있습니다. 

Central Park

센트럴파크

Central Park is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world. Despite this, it's still big enough to find a peaceful place to reconnect with nature in the famously fast-paced city, thanks to it's beautiful trees, ponds, walking tracks and lawns.

센트럴 파크는 여행자들의 목적지로 가장 많이 방문하는 장소입니다. 그럼에도 이곳은  여전히 평화롭고 자연과 재연결하는 장소로 충분히 큽니다. 바쁜도심생활에서 아름다운 나무와 연못 그리고 잔디밭을 걷는것을 감사한일입니다 

Fifth Avenue

5번가

Considered one of the most expensive streets in the world, Fifth Avenue is where New York City's large population of super-rich shop for the finer things. Aside from the many boutique stores selling luxury goods, Fifth Avenue also features the Museum Mile, which runs along it from 82nd to 105th street. The area contains more than nine museums displaying valuable cultural artifacts from all over the world.

5번가는 세계에서 가장 비싼 거리중의 하나로 꼽힙니다. 5번가는 뉴욕에서 수퍼리치상점들의 비싼 물건들을 찾기위한 사람들이 가장 많이 몰리는 곳입니다. 이곳에는 많은 부티크샵과 럭셔리상품들이 있습니다. 5번가는 박물관거리로도 알려져있습니다. 82번에서 105번길까지 이어집니다. 이 지역은 전세계로 부터온 진귀하고 가치있는 유물과 작품들이 전시 되어있는 9개이상의 박물관이 있습니다. 

Coney Island

코니 아일랜드 

Coney Island was once home to some of the U.S.' earliest amusement parks. Although none of the original parks have survived, the modern Coney Island is still a popular leisure destination, offering beaches, roller coasters, Ferris wheels, and all the greasy carnival food you can eat.

코니 아일랜드는 미국에서 가장 일찍 개장한 놀이공원으로 누군가에게는 고향같은 곳입니다.  비록 오리지널 시설중 살아남은것은 없지만, 현대의 코니 아일랜드는 여전히 인기있는 레저시설입니다. 해안가에 있으며, 롤러코스터와, 페리휠과 그리고 햄버거,피자,핫도그 같은 패스트푸드를 먹을 수 있습니다.
