페이스북 이제 유저신뢰성을 평가하다.

In January, Facebook announced a system that rates the trustworthiness of news organizations in an effort to fight fake news. At the time, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said ratings would be based on how trustworthy Facebook users say they are.

지난 1월, 페이스북은 가짜뉴스와의 전쟁의 일환으로 뉴스게시자들의 신뢰성을 평가하는 시스템을 발표했습니다. 그때는, 페이스북의 설립자인 마크주크버그가 뉴스에 대한 평가는 페이스북유저들이 뉴스에대해 얼마나 신뢰하는지를 기본으로 하게 된다고 말했습니다. 

Facebook says news sources that receive higher trustworthy ratings from users appear earlier in the site's News Feed.

페이스북은 높은 신뢰성평가를 얻은 뉴스가 뉴스피드에 먼저 나타나게 된다고 말합니다. 

Now, Facebook is rating users themselves on how trustworthy they are at identifying and reporting real and false news. Facebook product manager Tessa Lyons said the system is necessary because some users are incorrectly reporting whether a story is true or false.

이제, 페이스북은  유저들이  진짜, 가짜뉴스를 얼마나 올바르게 리포팅했는지를 스스로를 평가하기로 했습니다. 페이스북 생산 매니저인 테사리온은 이 시스템은 필요하다고 말했습니다. 왜냐하면 몇몇 유저들은 뉴스의 참,거짓 여부와 관계없이 올바르지 않게 리포팅하기 때문입니다. 

The new rating system will help to show how good a user is at identifying and reporting false news stories. Facebook gives every user a rating between zero and one.

새로운 평가 시스템은 특정 유저가 얼마나 가짜뉴스를 잘 식별하는지를 보여줍니다. 패이스북은 모든 유저에게 0부터 1까지의 평가 점수를 부여합니다. 

As an example, Lyons said a user’s trustworthiness rating would go up if they reported a news story as false, and the story was later shown to be false by a fact-checking organization.

예를 들어, 리온은 유저가 특정뉴스를 가짜라고 평가하고 나중에 팩트체킹위원회에 의해 가짜뉴스로 밝혀지면 유저의 신뢰성평가점수는 올라갈 것 이라 말했습니다.

Lyons says it is common for people to report something as false just because they disagree with it.

리온은 사람들은 그것에 동의하지 않기때문에 거짓이라고 보고하는것이 일반적이라고 말합니다. 

In addition to information from users, Facebook uses computer systems to choose stories to be checked for trustworthiness. The company is working with a number of major news and fact-checking organizations that look at news stories reported as being false.

유저들의 정보에 더해서, 페이스북은 신뢰성을 체크하여 스토리를 선택하는 컴퓨터시스템을 사용합니다.  이 회사는 많은 수의 주요 뉴스와 그것을 들여다보고 거짓이라고 보고하는 팩트체크위원회와 함께 일하고 있습니다.
