'닌자 부족'이 일본의 도시에서 100명의 닌자 지원자를 받다

The small city of Iga, Japan has been flooded with job applications from people who want to be ninjas. At least 115 people from 23 countries applied for the job of 'Ninja Performer', after it was incorrectly reported as paying up to $85,000 a year.

이가의 작은 도시에서 일본은 닌자가 되고 싶어하는 사람들로 넘쳐 납니다. 년간 8만5천달러의 보수라는 잘못된 기사가 나간이후로, 최소 23개국 115명이상의 사람들이 '닌자 공연자'에 지원했습니다. 

People do work as ninja performers in Iga, but there are no current jobs available.

사람들은 이가에서 닌자 공연일을 합니다, 하지만 현재 그곳에는 가능한 직업이 없습니다. 

The issue came about after National Public Radio (NPR) incorrectly reported that Iga needed new ninjas. This led to many articles by other news organizations saying that Iga couldn't find enough young people to work as ninja performers.

이 이슈는 국제공공라디오에서 이가에서 새로운 닌자가 필요하다고 잘못된 보도를 한것에서 비롯됬스비다. 이것은 다른 뉴스그룹에서도 이가가 닌자를 공연할 젊은 사람들을 찾지 못하고 있다고 잘못된 기사를 쏟아 냈습니다. 

Iga was once the home of Iga-ryū, one of Japan’s most well-known ninja schools between the 15th and 17th centuries. Every year, the Iga Ueno Ninja festival takes place in the city, attracting about 30,000 visitors. The five-week festival includes ninja performances, competitions, and the chance for visitors to practice ninja skills.

이가시는 이가류의 본거지였습니다. 이가류는 15세기와 17세기에 일본에서 가장 잘알려진 닌자 학교입니다. 매년 3만명의 사람들이 방문하는 이가우에노닌자축제가 이 도시에서 열립니다. 5주동안 진행되는 축제는 닌자 공연과 시합 그리고 닌자 스킬을 배우고 연습할 기회를 포함합니다. 

The festival is an important part of Iga's economy, especially now that its population of about 100,000 is decreasing as its young people move to bigger cities.

이 축제는 이가시 경제의 매우 중요한 부분입니다. 특히 젊은 사람들이 점점 대도시로 감에 따라 인구가 10만에서 계속 감소하고있습니다. 

According to Sugako Nakagawa, who runs the Iga Ninja Museum, becoming a ninja required a lot of difficult training. In the past, ninjas were trained as spies and assassins.

닌자 박물관을 운영하고있는 스가코 나카가와씨에 따르면, 닌자가 되는 길은 수많은 어려운 수행을 요구하며 스파이와 암살자로 훈련된다고 했습니다. 

However, modern-day ninjas are not required to kill. Iga's Ninja performers only need to be comfortable performing in public, skilled in martial arts, and able to use traditional ninja weapons.

하지만, 현대의 닌자는 사람을 죽일 필요가 없습니다. 이가시의 닌자는 간단히 사람들앞에서 공연하고 마샬아츠를 훈련하고, 전통닌자무기들을 사용을 할수있으면 됩니다. 

Some ninja performers do make up to $85,000 a year, which is about five times more than what an actual ninja made during the Edo period. Many ninjas came from working class families and weren't highly paid because the job was seen as dishonorable.

몇몇의 닌자 공연자들은 연간 8만5천달러의 수입을 올립니다. 이는 에도시대의 진짜 닌자보다 5배난 많습니다. 실제로 활약했던 많은 닌자들은 많은 보수를 받지 못했습니다. 그들의 직업은 불명예스럽게 비쳐졌기때문입니다.
